Further to Newsletter No. 31 – 15 December 2010.
Subsequent to the advice in Newsletter No. 31 (as above), the Union has had further communications with the Fire Service.
The Union Committee viewed a demonstration of the new corridor on 29 March 2011.
Consequently the Union Committee advises members that the advice in Newsletter No.31 not to participate in Train the Trainer Courses is withdrawn.
Members are therefore free to now participate.
Due to the resignation of Auckland Local Committee Member Chris O'Dea, and the declaration of Josh Nicolls to the position of Auckland Local President, nominations are hereby called for the two vacant Auckland Local Committee positions.
By the closing date for nominations for the position of New Plymouth Local President, the following nomination has been received.
The Auckland Local President election closed at 1700 hours Friday with 89% of those eligible to vote taking part.
