In line with the Conference Resolution to establish the rate of the calculation of Union Fees to “0.75% of the weekly wage of a Senior Firefighter (Grade 1) with 10 years’ experience.”
Union Fees will increase to $18.65 plus GST – a total of $21.48 from the actual date of the payment of the new wage rates – expected to be 13 September 2017.
The Increase will not be back dated to 1 July 2017.
Members are reminded that this is the first increase in Fees for 19 years.
Members are advised that pursuant to Union Rule B.15.11, notice is given for the Auckland Local Annual General Meeting to be held on Friday 23 August 2024.
Due to the recent resignation of the Taupo Local Secretary, nominations are hereby called for this position in accordance with the Rules of the New Zealand Professional Firefighters Union.
