The Local is aware that there are civilian staff impersonating firefighters by wearing our uniform.

This action appears to be supported by Fire Region Manager Butt and his team.

Luckily, National Commander Hall does not appear to totally support this …quote, “Auckland administrative staff may wear the same corporate uniform as the Auckland regional management staff as they are in the same building.”

The Local takes this to mean corporate uniform (light blue shirt, arm patch, skirt or trousers) NOT the firefighters Level 1 uniform.

So be aware, stay well away from these pretenders.
