Welfare notice

As the shock sets in and the magnitude of yesterday’s horrific events begin to be comprehended, there will be many needing support and care. There will be many directly and indirectly affected across the country.

FENZ has been in touch with the NZPFU and confirmed that any support needed is available.

If members need any assistance, including needing time to support family and friends, all assistance will be available.

Our thoughts are with the Christchurch community and in particular the Muslim community. We are in shock but in solidarity with you.

We acknowledge the incredible efforts of the first responders, comms centre, dispatchers and health workers. This will be an incredibly stressful time and today some maybe feeling helplessness in the wake of the horror.

Look after each other and if we can support you in anyway please do not hesitate to contact National Secretary Wattie Watson 021928819 or President Ian Wright 021497448 for any assistance or support.
