Wellington Pride Parade 7 March 2020

The NZPFU encourages members to participate and support the annual Wellington Pride Parade which will take place on Saturday 7 March 2020 6pm to 10pm.

This year the Pride Parade theme is “Water! Dive into your Pride | Te Wai – Tō Mana. Whakarukuhia!” which is aimed at promoting water, life, motion, renewal, reflection, growth, and encouraging creativity. Last year FENZ personnel and their families marched down Courtney Place with three kitted out fire trucks. City Rail Link Engagement

As members will be aware, several health and safety concerns were raised with Fire and Emergency by the Local with respect to the commissioning exercises undertaken at the City Rail Link.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .
