Wellington Pride Parade 7 March 2020

The NZPFU encourages members to participate and support the annual Wellington Pride Parade which will take place on Saturday 7 March 2020 6pm to 10pm.

This year the Pride Parade theme is “Water! Dive into your Pride | Te Wai – Tō Mana. Whakarukuhia!” which is aimed at promoting water, life, motion, renewal, reflection, growth, and encouraging creativity. Last year FENZ personnel and their families marched down Courtney Place with three kitted out fire trucks. Members should be aware that District Manager Mackereth has unilaterally made the decision to remove the Hazmat Command Appliance from immediate response to confirmed structure fire incidents for incidents in Auckland City Central Fire District.
