As advised in Auckland Local Notice to Members 21-53 dated 2 August 2021, Fire and Emergency has recently asked for nominations for the 2021 Te Hiku Celebrating Success Awards.

Due to COVID, the closing date for the Celebrating Success/Ngā Tohu Raukura nomination period has been extended to close of business 20 September.

The Auckland Local encourages our members to nominate those Career Firefighters, Dispatchers, Trainers, Fire Risk Managers, Volunteer Support Officers and more, who have demonstrated outstanding excellence and contribution to the community in four categories.

The categories for 2021 are:

  • Safety, Health and Well-being
  • Operational Efficiency
  • Community Enrichment
  • Leadership

Nominations are open to any individual or team who works in Te Hiku, and the initiative must fall within one of the categories above.

Nomination forms for each category and some Q and A’s are attached.
