The period for nominations of the NZPFU Local Triennial elections closed at 5pm yesterday (Thursday 29 May).    

Please see the notices available for download below for every NZPFU Local detailing the nominations, those elected unopposed and where elections will need to be conducted.

Elected Unopposed:

  • Congratulations to those elected to their Local Secretary, President, Vice President and Committees unopposed.
  • In accordance with the Rules, you will take up your position as of 1 August 2025.   
  • In the interim, the current Local officials and committees remain.

Elections:

  • We will be conducting elections in Locals where the number of nominations exceed the positions in accordance with the NZPFU Rules.
  • Members of the Locals where elections will be held will be shortly informed of the process for those elections, including the order of those elections if more than one has to be held in that Local.
  • If anyone is considering withdrawing their nomination, we ask that you do so promptly as the withdrawal may affect an election or the order of elections.
